16-Hr CCW
As of January 1, 2024 California requires 16 Hours of training, regardless of County of residence.
8-Hr CCW (No longer offered)
California now requires all initial courses to be 16 Hours.
8-Hr CCW Renewal
The state requires an 8 hour CCW renewal course on a bi-annual basis. You’re encouraged to check with your issuing county’s department to confirm renewal requirements.
