Some counties in Northern California require 16 hours of instruction for CCW including: Sacramento, Sierra, Yolo, Marin, Napa, and San Joaquin.
8-Hr CCW
Some counties in Northern California require only 8 hours of instruction for CCW including Placer, Sutter and Nevada.
4-Hr CCW Renewal
Nearly every county in the state requires a 4 hour CCW renewal course on a bi-annual basis. You’re encouraged to check with your issuing county’s department to confirm renewal requirements.
